Vital Organs

Vital Organs are those organs in a body that are necessary to support life. If a vital organ is removed, destroyed, or damaged beyond repair then life can no longer be sustained (without artificial means). Death will occur immediately or in a period of a few hours or days. The vital organs of the human body are the brain, heart, lungs, liver, pancreas, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, kidneys, and skin. These are the organs you will want to protect if you are in a life-threatening encounter.
