This Hanbo Nidan Kata uses two Hanbo weapons simultaneously. This can be a very confusing Kata at first since you are moving both hands, often in completely different directions, at the same time. Take it easy at first. There is no rush to learn this form. You might even wish to learn the Kata using only the right or left hand first. Then learn the other side in isolation. Finally, blend the two sides into the single final Kata.
This Kata is much more about mental than physical skills development. It is intended to convey how you can and should think of each weapon as a separate entity that you can move in any way you wish at will. Naturally such coordination takes some time to develop. This will likely seem like a very long and complex Kata as you first learn it. After you have it mastered you will find it is actually quite short and quick.
The first three steps below constitute the opening salutation, which is slightly more complex when using two weapons. Likewise, the last several steps constitute the closing salutation.
Since you are wielding two weapons you have an increased risk of losing track of what one hand or the other is doing and therefore are more likely to impact yourself in an unfortunate manner. Do everything slowly at first until you become familiar with and accomplished at these movements. Trying to expedite the processes will likely cause you unnecessary pain.
