Renoji Dachi

Renoji Dachi (the “L” stance) is formed by moving the back leg slightly in behind the front leg until the heels are in alignment (essentially forming the letter “L”). The front foot faces forward (to local angle 1) and the back foot is turned 90° to the side. The distance between the front and rear foot will vary depending on application and intent.

Weight is evenly distributed along the bottoms of both feet.
